Name meaning : Probably an Aboriginal word
Notes: A school existed here in 1909 under the name "Dunoon" and it would appear a platform may have been planned but never implemented - construction plans note "platform abolished". In 1946 it opened with a 4.87 metre platform for passengers and small goods, this was extended in 1950 to 9.75 metres. The location is the site of the Cubawee Aboriginal Reserve.
