Kundabung railway cottage - photos probably from 1960s, thnough card indicates this one was still standing in 1975 (probably only just....). Note the comment - "town consists of 6 houses and 1 shop". There was a sizeable station and yard here (closed in 1974), but it's easy to understand why so many of these little country stations ended up closing.

Roger Goodwin:

"I lived in that cottage for 9yrs from 1976. I rebuilt it inside / outside. New verandah. Painted. New fence around the house. Had 8 new water tanks installed. New gutters. What an exercise. Built a carport at the rear. Loved the place. My 1st two children were born there."

Anne Phillips:

"My Mum & Dad lived here from 1938 to 1945, Frank & Isabelle Phillips."

Kundabung - another railway cottage (so at least two of the six houses there were NSWGR!) - note the construction date is 1955, photos taken in 1963 (State Archive)
