*Extracted from NSW Government Railways Weekly Notices, 1930–1949.*
*Note: Tyumba's station brand change from TYW to TYU (W.N. 21–1937) is unusual — the original brand TYW appears to have conflicted with another station or was simply corrected to better reflect the station name. The 1936 pig race notation ("Pig Race on Main line") is significant — a race on the main line rather than in a yard siding is an unusual arrangement for a small branch station, reflecting the limited infrastructure at Tyumba. The Nioka loading race (W.N. 21–1942), established simultaneously with the branch being put out of use for passenger traffic, suggests some continued use of the branch for produce loading even after passenger suspension — the loading race for Mr. W. H. Jones was clearly expected to generate traffic independently of the regular train service.*
