### Note on Woodlawn Quarry Siding
The nearby **Woodlawn Quarry Siding** (abolished W.N. 39–1942; Sydney end removed 17 September 1942) is a **separate and distinct location** from Woodlawn College platform. The quarry siding predated the platform and was removed while the platform was being established — both appear in the 1942 WN but are unrelated. The quarry siding was also covered under Circular No. 576 of 1936 (Lismore–Byron Bay).

*Note: Woodlawn College is one of the wartime-era platforms in the Murwillumbah branch collection — opened December 1941, shortly after the Pacific War commenced. The college it serviced (Woodlawn College) was likely a religious educational institution in the area, and the platform would have served students and staff. The mileage correction in W.N. 7–1943 (522m 56c → 522m 64c, a difference of 8 chains = approximately 160 metres) is one of the larger documented mileage corrections for a new platform in the collection and suggests the platform was physically placed further north than originally planned. The 1942 Woodlawn Quarry Siding abolition (W.N. 39–1942) occurring in the same year as the college platform's establishment is coincidental — the quarry siding was separate and its abolition did not affect the college platform.*
