Here is a pic of Cascade waiting room in 2013. I'm not sure if the building is still standing, but if it is, it won't be for much longer. The photo is by Rob Sims, he won't be standing for much longer either.

Found this interesting hand drawn diagram dated 1925 in the ARHS track and diagram collection,. The 1930 LA shows Walters and Earps sidings in existence. A good excuse to do some more research on this location. The curve and gradient diagram shows Cascade 5 miles up a 6 mile 1 in 30 grade between Brooklana and Briggsvale. Must have been fun to shunt. Ltd" — confirming that despite the renaming to Cascade in August 1925, EWB retained commercial involvement at the site for at least two years. The extension to 658 feet for Walters, Middleton and Eades Limited (W.N. 14–1926) confirms a second timber company was operating from the siding within a year of opening. The platform was provided last of all (W.N. 51–1926) — the location opened for freight only and passenger facilities were added retroactively once the commercial viability of the siding was established.*
