44214 at The Risk in the 1980s, Michael Harley swapping the staff.

This 442 was scrapped in the late 1980s.

Greg Lee states :

"Seriously, I travelled on a train behind behind a 442 from Central in the early '90s. Before the train departed, I walked forward to look at the loco, as all young boys do. It was very rusty and when I returned to my seat I said to my partner Marilyn, "That thing won't get us there." I was right; it had an engine room fire near Kundabung."
