Name meaning : Likely after a local settler as the name is taken from the creek nearby.
Notes : The Down platform was 67 metres long. Crabbe's Creek's most significant ongoing feature was its C.S.R. (Colonial Sugar Refining Company) Sugar Cane Siding, which was extended and reconfigured multiple times between 1923 and 1939, reflecting an active local sugar cane industry. The station also controlled Henderson's Banana Platform (opened 1935, between Crabbe's Creek and Yelgun) until administrative control passed to Billinudgel in 1943. Opened 24 December 1894 as Mooball (the original/first site of that name); renamed Crabbe's Creek in January 1895. 3rd May 1923, sugar cane siding extended by 300'.17th September 1935, sugar cane siding extended by 158' on the Up end. Wn 39/1935 - name changed to "Crabbe's Creek Goods Siding" (altered shortly thereafter back to "Crabbe's Creek"). 1964 - Sheep race deleted. WN 40/1973 lists the station for deletion, but retained at this point. 17 April 1974 - cane siding abolished. Crabbe's Creek closed per WN 29/1974. All particulars deleted 28th June 1975 (WN 26/1975).
