Name meaning : Aboriginal word for "bloodwood tree"
Notes : No town or village nearby, only scattered farms. A pig race was at the location, original platform was 150' in length, reduced to 75' by 1961.  Mingaletta platform opened Monday, 6 September 1926 at Mileage 299m 69c, between Telegraph Point and Kundabung. Unattended; Siding and Platform conditions; small lots of goods only; inwards freight prepaid; under control of Wauchope. Station brand MNT; Power's Freight code 2678. Grade 1 in 550 rising (Down) and 1 in 150 rising (Up). Trains Nos. 5 and 15 Pass. (Down) and No. 6 Pass. (Up) called when required. In the same week (W.N. 51–1926) a small yard and portable pig race were provided — "only small consignments of pigs can be dealt with" (ref. V. 264,801). The mileage in the Passenger Fares and Coaching Rates Book required correction — W.N. 20–1927 amended pages 103 and 109 of that book. No. 8 Goods (8.5 a.m. ex South Grafton) allowed 9 minutes at Mingaletta; No. 62 Goods (Saturdays) allowed 15 minutes (1926). Section reference Mingaletta–Kundabung and Kundabung–Kempsey listed in grades table by 1961; Mileage 301m 46c cited (Mingaletta to Kundabung). Platform reduced from 150 feet to 75 feet by 1961.
