Name meaning : After Cateena Point, Ulverstone (Promontory) (Aboriginal word for "cow")
Notes : Construction name was "Allisons", but was named Cateena on opening. Location had a 30" platform with small shelter, 164' loop siding and a loading ramp. A gangers cottage existed here until 1926 when it was sold for removal. This was a major point for shipping of logs to the APM mill at Burnie.
