Name meaning : Opened at a cost of 951 pounds. In 1914 an "adjustment" had been made to the siding that saw £55 12s returned by the Railway Commissioners to the company. By 1918 livestock (cattle) were being delivered to the site via the siding for slaughter and processing. Sold to Norco in 1928.
By 1955 this was known as the F.J. Walker (Byron Bay) Pty Ltd Siding. WN 27/1968 notes the closure although a conflicting date of 1986 is also provied in a WN of that year (though that may simply be a reference to the private Simplex loco being out of service).
