Name meaning : Named for the tracks left by the bullock teams as being "rougher than those around Cape Horn". Property was originally called "Cape Horn" then shortened to "The Cape".
Notes: Small sleeper-built platform of 2.43 metres in length on the Up side. Prior to the platform being built prospective passengers for the motor rail boarded from the trackside. In the 1930s the platform was regularly used by six students to travel to and from Kyogle. This platform moved in 1948.
