*Extracted from NSW Government Railways Weekly Notices, 1922–1974.*
*Note: Karangi's Staff Drawer Lock arrangement at opening (Frames A and B released by Coffs Harbour–Coramba ETS — a section spanning two intermediate stations) is unusual. Most intermediate sidings had frames released by the immediately adjacent section; releasing Karangi's frames by the Coffs Harbour–Coramba staff means a single staff controlled both Karangi and all intermediate banana platforms between Coffs Harbour and Coramba. This changed in 1943 when the opening of Landrigans split the section — Karangi then released by the shorter Landrigans–Coramba staff. The Regulation change (F → B) at the same time reflects the different operating conditions of the new arrangement. The two temporary ballast sidings documented between Coffs Harbour and Karangi (Mileage 50.54 and 381.47) are distinct locations — the first survived into late 1923 with a catch-point modification; the second was removed in April 1924.*
