*Note: The AC2+ concrete pre-cast construction at Warrell Creek is the only such designation in the WN collection — the "first in NSW" status reflects the Railway's experimentation with concrete pre-cast construction for station buildings in the early 1920s, moving away from the standard timber A-series buildings used throughout the earlier Dungog–Taree and Wauchope–Kempsey openings. The two-year gap between station opening (1919) and deletion notice (1976) is unusually wide — Warrell Creek was formally deleted from publications nearly two years after closure, one of the longest closure-to-deletion gaps in the collection.*
