*Extracted from NSW Government Railways Weekly Notices, 1943–1983.*
*Note: Landrigans is the only location in the collection where a banana platform was formally removed before a wartime loop was installed at the same site — the sequence (Banana Platform removed W.N. 30–1943 → loop opened W.N. 50–1943) confirms the platform removal was specifically to clear the site for loop construction. The correction of the employee platform mileage (W.N. 41–1945 Brisbane mileage → W.N. 43–1945 Sydney mileage 385m 6c) is consistent with the 1943–1945 administrative period when both mileage conventions were in use simultaneously on the Glenreagh line. The two Down Distant signals removed in 1982 (Inner Distant No. 20 and fixed Outer Distant) confirm Landrigans had a two-distant approach arrangement — Inner and Outer — reflecting the curvature of the approach on this section of the line.*

> **Notes:** Landrigan's Banana Platform opened since 8 September 1933 (W.N. 38–1933) — 15-foot Down side platform at Mileage 385m 28c, between Paw Paw and Karangi. Bananas only; not for passenger traffic; control of Coffs Harbour. Power's code 2892 — consistent with 1931–1934 batch (Paw Paw 2889, Gauld's 2910, Kerr's 2914). Merchandise and Livestock Rates Book pages 188 and 226 amended; Alphabetical List page 40 amended. Listed alongside Gentle's, Kerr's, Wales' and Bartlett's in a 1934 amendment (W.N. 42–1934; ref. V.34–134,366). The Down side placement is notable — most platforms in this section were on the Up side. Platform removed before the Landrigans loop opened (W.N. 30–1943; ref. 43–51,031); the "Banana Platform" wording subsequently deleted from the Landrigans station entry in W.N. 2–1944.

*Note: Landrigan's Banana Platform is the only platform in the collection that was formally removed specifically to make way for a wartime crossing loop at the same location. The Power's code 2892 places it between Paw Paw (2889, opened 1931) and Gauld's (2910, opened 1934) in the sequential coding — consistent with a September 1933 opening. The Down side placement (unlike the Up side platforms at Paw Paw, Gauld's, Kerr's and Gentle's nearby) may reflect the grade and access arrangements at this particular farm. The 1934 group amendment (V.34–134,366) linking Landrigan's with Gentle's, Kerr's, Wales' and Bartlett's suggests a coordinated operational change — possibly a uniform traffic arrangement or train timing adjustment — affecting all five platforms simultaneously.*
