*Extracted from NSW Government Railways Weekly Notices, 1915–1988.*
*Note: Glenreagh is one of the most complex stations in the collection — a terminus (1915–1922), a junction (1924–present), a locomotive depot (1924–1958), and a CTC crossing loop (1983–present). The two-day CTC conversion (5–6 December 1982) is one of three two-day conversions in the North Coast programme (joining Macksville and Coffs Harbour). The loop extension announcement in W.N. 1–1988 (10 January), deferral in W.N. 2–1988, and rescheduling in W.N. 3–1988 (17 January) — three consecutive WNs — is the most compressed deferral/reschedule sequence in the collection. Your noted date of "10/1/1988" reflects the original planned date before the one-week deferral.*
