Plotted coordinates of locations from Launceston to Western Junction. Note that this is not a route map (the line isn't shown) and one location (French's (between Relbia and Western Junction)) is missing due to no data. Distances between each location are straight line (not as measured on the line itself).

Fenton Street to Burnie locations plotted.

Note that this is not a route map (the line isn't shown). Distances between each location are straight line (not as measured on the line itself).

The three dense stretches have their own detail panels.

Layout: The line runs east to west, so I split it into three stacked strips (Burnie to Howth, Sulphur Creek to Ulverstone, Button's Creek to Fenton Street). The detail panels A, B and C cover Fenton Street to Top Don Hill, Blythe Heads to Goldsmith's, and Wivenhoe to Burnie.

Scale: Latitude is exaggerated in all panels so the labels stay readable. This differs from my previous plots, which kept true scale. The km figures are true distances.

Rough spots: The labels in detail B are tight where Blythe Heads, Sand Pit, Blythe and Heybridge sit within a few hundred metres of each other. The Seddon / Emu / North West Acid label in detail C is slightly clipped at the bottom.

Total: The straight-line distance along the whole chain is 43.68 km.
