Casino signal box was another Type O2 design. By 1982 some of the windows had been replaced by an aluminium type.

CASINO LOCOMOTIVE JUNCTION

Signal box opened when the new station was brought into use and controlled the country end
connections to the yard, and the connections to Loco.
It was operated as a subsidiary frame released from Casino Station Box, which exercised slotted
control on most of its signals.
Closed when the new large signal box was opened on the opposite side of the main line.

*Extracted from NSW Government Railways Weekly Notices, 1930–1989.*
*Note: Casino is the most operationally complex station in the Grafton–Casino section of the collection. The 1930 opening involved the simultaneous creation of a new Casino station, renaming of the original station to Old Casino, and renaming of North Casino to Tenby — a three-station coordination in a single WN. The 1946 signal-box consolidation (dispensing with two existing signal-boxes and replacing them with a single electrically-operated installation) is the most significant single infrastructure event at Casino in the collection, with Circular No. 113–5 of 1946 governing the full yard arrangements. The calling-on signal provision (11 separate call-on signals) and shunt-ahead signal arrangement (4 signals) at the 1946 signal-box is the most extensive single-station installation documented in the North Coast WN collection. Casino's unique position as the southern terminus of the Kyogle-direction traffic (South Brisbane) while also being the terminus of the Grafton-direction CTC from 1983, but with its own retained Signal-box not under CTC remote control, makes it the only station in the Grafton–Casino section that remained under conventional signal-box working through the end of the WN collection period.*
