The station appears in the 1924 working timetable as a full scheduled stop (3-minute dwell), not a request stop — suggesting it had reasonable traffic at that time. By 1935 the asterisk designation (\*) indicates it had become a limited-service or unattended stop. The 1957 power's codes change (3445–59 → 3450–55) and simultaneous Lismore control assignment reflect the same four-station rationalisation that affected Booyong, Eltham and Laureldale. The closure date (17 March 1972) makes Nashua one of the earlier 1972 closures on the Murwillumbah branch — preceding the larger February 1972 batch (Fernside, Laureldale, Tyagarah etc.) in the opposite direction.*
