Name meaning : corruption of an Aboriginal word 'tiennah' for bandicoot.
Notes : 875' crossing loop. The location had a waiting shed and WC on the main line with a timber loading ramp on a short dead end siding that had originally been a loop siding that led to the Huon Timber Co Mill, this was an 819' siding. The siding had been truncated by the 1930s.
