Name meaning : Unknown
Notes : Name changed from Russell to Westerway 1918/19 when the town was renamed from Russell to Westerway. Location had loco servicing facilities, a triangle (wye) and a 1,150' crossing loop as well as a goods loop, goods shed, sheep and cattle pens, timber loading facilities (on a siding at the top of the triangle). Terminus of the line between 1909 and 1916.
