#40 Down from Hobart will reverse into the Western Line platform and then take the #223 UP number when it departs for Wynyard.
The Western Line Tasman Ltd. (#226 Down) will reverse into the platform in front of the railcars so when the railcars depart for Launceston, they will take this run number.
Meanwhile, the ex-Western Line service will become #67 for the run on to Hobart.
