Lessing (North Coast) — Since 8th August, 1925, a new Loading Stage, 10 feet × 8 feet, has been provided on the Up side of the line at Mileage 138.52 (Grafton mileage), between Stoker's and Upper Burringbar, to be known as LESSING. The Loading Stage is for the purpose of loading bananas only. Nos. 178 and 186 on Tuesdays and Fridays stop when required to pick up bananas, which will be booked as from Stoker's. (V. 24–633.)
1928 — W.N. 21–1928 (Closure notice):
Lessing (Grafton–Murwillumbah Line) — Lessing Platform has been removed and the place closed. Page 31 of the Alphabetical List of Stations and Platforms, Intermediate Sidings and Colliery Lines; page 186 of the Merchandise and Live-stock Rates Book and Working Time-table to be also posted accordingly.
