Name meaning : Aboriginal word for "place of the (non-returning) boomerang"
Notes : Upper Burringbar was provided with a waiting shed and siding and a gantry crane was added in 1904 (particulars for the crane were deleted in 1934). Location was moved 37.7 metres probably after 1923 when the 12.1 metre Down platform was built. 19630 - a small sheep trucking yard was provided for loading into bottom deck of sheep vans only. November 1954, siding abolished, this was removed 9/9/1964. WN 42/1973 lists the station for deletion (along with Booyong), final reference was WN 8/1974 and WN 26/1975.
