Ken Date states:
I don't remember if there was a siding but I suppose there must have been one there. There was a small hut beside the line that constituted the 'station' and it was still shown as an 'a' stop in the 1972 timetable. The station did not have a platform, it was a ground level affair (similar to the nearby Myocum). By the 1972 timetable, Quarry Siding was the only station listed between Byron Bay and Mullumbimby, whereas once Quarry Siding, Myocum and Tyagarah were all in the timetable along that stretch.
