Notes : Beaudesert Road existed as a level crossing and telephone station from at least 1930, and as an Intermediate Staff Station (standard gauge) from 28 May 1941 when the Rocklea Munition Siding was provided adjacent to it. It was not a crossing station — no loop is documented in NSW Weekly Notices, which treated it purely as an intermediate staff station allowing trains to approach from Clapham for shunting while a Down train was approaching from Kagaru. The QR Beaudesert Road Signal-box (known as Nyanda from at least 1969) worked closely with the NSW staff arrangements. Section distances: Greenbank–Beaudesert Road was 21.424 km; Beaudesert Road–Clapham was 1.831 km (from W.N. 21–1980). Beaudesert Road was abolished as an electric train staff station on 28 May 1980 when Acacia Ridge opened. The signal box was abolished in November 1982 when Single Line Track Block Working was introduced on Acacia Ridge–Clapham. The 1988 level crossing list records the Beaudesert Road crossing at **976.993 km** as "Interlocked, Type F Signals, Nyanda" — confirming the Nyanda name persisted after signal box abolition.

*Extracted from NSW Government Railways Weekly Notices, 1930–1988.*
*Note: Circular No. 158–28 of 1941 (Beaudesert Road base diagram) was referenced from 1941 through to 1980 — 39 years. The "Nyanda" name for the QR signal-box was first documented in the NSW Weekly Notices in 1969 and persisted in the level crossing table as late as 1988. Beaudesert Road was never a crossing station in the NSW system — it could not cross trains, only permit an Up train to approach from Clapham for shunting while a Down train was approaching from Kagaru.*
