Name meaning : Named after a small town near Derby (England) - the name means "hill of the Hrype tribe"
Noters : The Down timber platform was 76.2 metres in length when opened, extended to 121.9 metres in 1924. A waiting shed and no other facilities were on the platform until 14/2/1925 when toilets were provided. There was no nearby settlement.
