Name meaning : Named after the nearby creek of the same name
Notes : Notable for being the first station built in NSW of the AC2+ concrete pre-cast type, it had a general waiting room and out-of room. The original timber Up platform was built to the standard NCL length of 76.2 metres, later reduced to 39.6 metres. A ladies toilet was added 30/6/1922. Location deleted 1976.

Warrell creek/ Butchers creek railway tunnel circa 1930's. from Warrell creek remembers. Anybody have any more info? (David Day)

Location of Warrell Creek Station. The station opened in 1919 and closed in 1974. A signalling hut exists on the site today. (Google Maps)

Warrel Creek sign - owned by Deanna Riddell who found it in Tasmania some years ago and returned it "home".
