Title: Bundook Railway Cottages
Post by: admin on February 11, 2022, 10:35:48 AM
No photos of this one unfortunately, but the history of it is interesting. This was at Bundook (opposite the station building inside the yards). Note that it states it was relocated from Dalhousie Creek in 1960 (at the time that loop was in decline and being shut down). Also note the tag "Departmental Cabin #2" which indicates a standard build of some sort. (1969, State Archives)

Bundook, railway cottage (1969, State Archives)

Station Master's cottage.

None of the cottages at Bundook remain.
