35 years ago to this day saw 4878+4529 departing Taree with predominantly a container load behind.  The train has just crossed Brown's Creek bridge, which at this time still had timber spans either side of the main steel section. January 7 1987.

January 30, 1987, and 4805 rolls down into Taree with a very short goods.  This is one of my favourite pics given that I just happened to be in the right place and the right time waiting for something else that was due on the up.  Why it was long end leading was a suprise and a bonus.
